How To Make Powerpoint Slides Fit My Screen In Powerpoint 11 For Mac

You have five ways to view your work in PowerPoint in Office 2008 for Mac: Normal view, Slide Sorter view, Slide Show view, Notes Page view, and Presenter Tools view. There are also three Master views: Slide, Handout, and Notes. You can choose any of the views from the View menu, or you can click the buttons in the lower-left corner of every document window to easily switch to any of the first three (Normal, Slide Sorter, and Slide Show).

The PDF then has a page that matches the 8.5X11 area of the page without white margins. I have tried to hours to save a PDF without the white margins. PowerPoint; /; Mac; /; Office 2016 for Mac. I think a better approach is to create custom page sizes that match the PowerPoint slide dimensions.

If you hold down the Shift key, the Normal button turns into the Slide Master button, the Slide Sorter button turns into the Handout Master button, and the Slide Show button turns into the Presenter Tools button. So, if you can remember to press Shift first, these buttons can invoke six views.

Here’s what you need to know about the five main views:

  • Normal view: The Normal view is the one you’ll probably spend the most time in. It’s where you edit and format the text on your slides and where you arrange objects — text boxes, graphic images, or both — on your slide. The slide you’re editing appears in the Slides pane. To edit a different slide, you just click it in the left pane, and it appears in the right pane, ready for editing. To make the Slides pane wider or narrower, click the three resizer dots, and drag to the right to make the pane wider or to the left to make it narrower.

  • Slide Sorter view: The Slide Sorter view is the view used to rearrange the order of your slides. Just click the slide you want to move, drag it where you want it, and drop it there. (If you hold down the Option key, dragging a slide creates a duplicate of it instead of moving it.)

  • Slide Show view: Slide Show is the view you use to present your slide show to others. When you switch to this view, PowerPoint hides everything else — the menu bar, document windows, toolbars, palettes, and such — and your active slide takes over the entire screen.

Maintaining the core elements of the original, Anomaly 2 adds new features to the single-player campaign and finally puts your skills to a test in a completely unique experience: the dynamic tower defense vs. Tower DefenseAnomaly 2 is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Anomaly Warzone Earth. Anomaly: warzone earth. All About Tower Offense vs. Tower offense multiplayer mode!In the years following the invasion of Earth in 2018, the planet is overrun by alien machines.

Because Slide Show view has no visible menus or windows, the main thing you’ll want to know is how to get out of Slide Show view. You can either press the Esc key on your keyboard or you can move the cursor to the lower-left corner of your slide and click the little black triangle that appears in the pop-up menu icon. Then choose End Show from the pop-up menu.

  • Notes Page view: You can add notes to any slide, if you want. The Notes Page view shows your slide above a large area where you can type those notes.

You can also add notes in Normal view, but the notes area is much smaller there. If your notes are longer than a few sentences, the Notes Page view is probably a better bet.

  • Presenter Tools view: The Presenter Tools view is a set of tools that provide additional control over your slide show.

Effective presentations start with doing the simple things well. And nothing can be simpler than or as basic as learning how to make those images fit onto your slides just perfectly. It is a common problem – you get just the right image, but the image size is a bit too small or too big for the slide. So, for the sake of creating good presentations that are pleasing to the eye let’s look at three of the simplest things you can do to see that images on your slide fit perfectly.

Choose the largest image that is available

Stock websites and even photo sites like Flickr generally carry same images in different dimensions. If you have a choice, download the image in the largest dimension that’s available. With a large image, you get the room to maneuver by cropping or resizing the image to exactly fit the PowerPoint slide.

Fill the slide background with the dominant color of the image

If the image is smaller than the slide, then you can fill the background of the slide with a complimentary color or a color that’s predominant in the image. The idea is to make it look as if the image is merging into the slide’s background. It helps to pick up an image with uniform colors that blends with the single-colored background of the slide. You can pick a color from the image using a color picker tool (lots of freeware available) and set the background with the same color.

Decrease the image size

Powerpoint

Thanks to many web apps (like Instagram), you can turn a humdrum picture into something interesting. In fact, you don’t even need to go there as PowerPoint itself has many artistic effects of its own. For instance, you can decrease the size of an image and place a border around it to make it resemble a photograph. A drop shadow added around the photo makes it leap out from the slide and gives your presentation an eye-catching zing.

Increase the image size

If I have a large image, this is the one option I normally take. Not only because the large size of the image saves me the bother of worrying about proper image alignment on the slide, but more so because the image can fill the entire frame and become the center-piece of the presentation as it was meant to be. Placement of the text here is critical because it should be aesthetically aligned as well as stand clear of the image so as to not obstruct it.

The golden rule of a good slide is less clutter. Keep it simple. Use lots of whitespaces. Did you give a presentation recently? What tip would you put down here, which could result in a good to great presentation?
